For the newsletter subscription service through the 444.hu website
1. Introductory provisions
1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) regulate the terms and conditions of service contracts between Magyar Jeti Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság (short name: Magyar Jeti Zrt., registered address: 1024 Budapest, Margit körút 5. Building B, tax number: 24298083-2-41, company registration number: 01-10-048381, represented by: Gábor Miklós Kardos, Chief Executive Officer) as service provider, (hereinafter: Service Provider) and the individuals who subscribe to the newsletter service through an interface designated for such purposes (the Service Provider and Subscriber hereinafter: Parties).
1.2. It is declared that the Service Provider’s long-term objective is to maintain and operate the 444.hu portal. 444.hu is an online portal which was created for the primary objective of providing balanced and objective information about public, political and social events.
1.3. It is also declared that, in order to achieve the above objective, the Service Provider shall launch a newsletter service in English, with weekly news summaries of the most important events of Hungarian public life sent in English to subscribers. In order to implement the newsletter service, the Service Provider has created and maintains a Website (, hereinafter: Website).
1.4. The Parties declare that the Website is operated by the Service Provider, which fully responsible for its operation.
2. Establishment of the contract
2.1. In order to establish the subscription contract, the Subscriber shall choose one of the services indicated on the Website and pay the subscription fee for the selected service to the Service Provider. Payment type: recurring payment.
2.2. By paying the fee for the selected service, the Subscriber expresses to the Service Provider an intention to subscribe for the service on the basis of their own decision.
2.3. Following the selection of the service and the supply of data, the general contracting terms and conditions of the Service Provider included in this document will become accessible on the website.Once the Subscriber has read and accepted those terms and conditions, the service contract is established between the Subscriber and the Service Provider without any further act and the Service Provider also declares that it shall start providing the selected service.
2.4. The established contract is not a written contract; the Service Provider shall record it through the registration referred to in section 3.3.2. The GCTC shall be accessible in Hungarian and in English on https://newsletter.444.hu website as long as it exists. In the event of any deviation or error in the translation, the content of the Hungarian text shall prevail. The Service Provider shall send an automatic e-mail to the Subscriber to the e-mail address provided by the Service Provider on registration and the payment received from the Subscriber.
2.5. The Service Provider shall expressly and clearly indicate any potential deviation from the provisions of this Section in the Website in advance.

3. Subject matter and content of the contract
3.1. Subject matter of the contract
The Parties agree that the purpose of their agreement is the supply of a newsletter service to the Subscriber by the Service Provider for a subscription fee.
3.2. Subscription modes
Subscription may be initiated by selecting from the services available on the newsletter.444.hu website.
3.3. The subscription process and establishment of the contract
3.3.1. In order to become a Subscriber and the subject of this contract, the Subscriber should choose one of the payment methods listed on the Website and subscribe to the newsletter service.
3.3.2. Subscription through the newsletter.444.hu website requires registration. The Subscriber acknowledges that is if they register on the Website simultaneously with the subscription by providing their e-mail address, Facebook profile or Google profile, they also accept that the Service Provider can send newsletters to them depending on the selected service (hereinafter: Newsletter). The Service Provider shall send the Newsletter to the Subscriber in an e-mail message (hereinafter: E-mail) to the e-mail address provided to the Service Provider during the registration on the Website.
3.3.4. The Service Provider shall provide individual information relating to the subscription upon request received via e-mail at the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
3.4. Payment methods
3.4.1. The payment for the subscription may be made using various technical solutions available with the PayPal service.
3.4.2. The payment for the subscription may be made by bank card, using the technical solutions available in the Barion service.
Barion is a electronic payment processing service that allows you to make payments securely with your credit card. This service also allows you process payments in mobile apps, webshops, or even transfer funds to your friends. Barion Payment Zrt (license: H-EN-I-1064/2013) is under the supervision of the National Bank of Hungary.
You don’t have to register for Barion to use the service. If you want to pay by card, all you have to do is enter your card number, expiration date, CVC code, and an email address (so we can send you a confirmation of the payment). If you register for Barion’s payment service, you’ll never have to type in your credit card information when paying through a Barion — your email address and password will be enough. It’s easy and secure.

The Service Provider shall create an electronic invoice within 15 days from purchase and shall send it to the e-mail address provided by the Subscriber.
Credit card payment for InsightHungary is provided by Barion Payment Zrt. - this will appear on the bank statement.
4. Data processing
The Parties agree that the acceptance of the GTC by the Subscriber shall be deemed as consent pursuant to Section 5 (1) a) of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Information and Self-Determination and Freedom of Information and therefore the Service Provider shall be entitled to process the data provided by the Subscriber or otherwise obtained by the Service Provider in the process of subscription within the framework of the legal regulations. The data processing does not involve any data transfer. The Service Provider does not obtain any information about the Subscriber’s bank account and/or bank card details and therefore they shall not be recorded or stored either. The details of data processing are included in the Data Processing Notice. The Service Provider does not process any data related to the payment method of the subscription (e.g. bankcard number, bank account number, etc.)
5. Cessation of the contract
5.1. The contract shall cease to exist after the expiry of the effective term of the newsletter service selected by the Subscriber.
5.2. The contracting parties declare that this subscription contract may only be terminated with a unilateral declaration if the other party is in gross breach of contract.
Any issue not regulated in these GTC shall be governed by the provisions of the Civil Code.
